Goals and objectives

The main goal of the journal “Human Performance and Movement Science in Sport” is the in-depth scientific study of the biomechanical, physiological, neuromechanical, and psychomotor mechanisms of human movement in the process of sports activity, as well as the presentation of innovative research aimed at increasing the effectiveness of human movement to the international scientific community.

The journal covers fundamental and applied research based on an integrated approach and aims to evaluate scientific results obtained using modern digital technologies.

Publication frequency

The journal is published six times a year: February, April, June, August, October, and December.

International standards

The journal supports international editorial policy and publishing ethics standards established by ACSM, ECSS, FIMS, ICSSPE, ISAK, WADA, and COPE.

All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) open access license.

Archiving

The journal archives all published articles through the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) based on the LOCKSS system.

Indexing

The journal is indexed in Google Scholar, ROAD, DOAJ, OpenAIRE, ORCID, Crossref, Index Copernicus, and Crossref Similarity Check.

Advertising policy

The journal may accept advertising materials related to science, education, sports, and healthy lifestyles within the scope of its activities. Advertising must not affect the scientific independence of the journal, editorial policy, or the impartiality of published materials.

Clear boundaries are maintained between advertising and scientific content. Advertising materials do not interfere with editorial decision-making processes.

At the same time, the journal does not accept advertising related to religious propaganda, extremism, violence, discrimination, or illegal activities. Advertising promoting gambling, totalizators, lotteries, betting services, and similar activities is strictly prohibited.

The journal also does not accept advertising materials containing false, unproven, or misleading claims in the field of health and sports. All advertising content must comply with applicable legislation, ethical norms, and scientific principles.

All advertising materials are reviewed in advance by the editorial office. The editorial board reserves the right to accept, reject, or request revisions to advertising materials.

Fiscal policy

The journal provides for the collection of Article Processing Charges (APCs) for publication.

For residents of the Republic of Uzbekistan – 300,000 UZS; for non-residents – 30 USD.

Copy and plagiarism

All submitted manuscripts are checked using anti-plagiarism systems. Any detected violations are handled in accordance with COPE rules and publishing ethics standards.

Preprint & Postprint Policy

Manuscripts previously available as preprints are accepted for review; however, upon publication, authors must provide a link to the official journal page.

Conclusion

This policy was developed based on the materials and best practices of Elsevier and the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
